Founded in 1948, Brandeis is the only nonsectarian
Jewish-sponsored college or university in the nation. It is located
on 235 acres in the Boston suburb of Waltham.
The university is named after Louis Dembitz
Brandeis, the distinguished associate justice of the United States
Supreme Court.
Brandeis has 3,051 undergraduate students
and 1,346 graduate students representing 46 states and 101 countries.
